1. Professional Installation Requirement

All batteries, inverters, and related electrical products sold by E2C-shop should be installed by a qualified electrician or certified installer in accordance with:

• Local electrical regulations and safety standards

• Manufacturer installation manuals and technical guidelines

• Applicable grid connection requirements

• Local inspection and certification requirements where applicable

 

Improper installation may result in product malfunction, reduced performance, electric shock, fire hazards, battery damage, system instability, or serious safety risks.

E2C-shop does not encourage installation, modification, or commissioning of high-voltage electrical systems by unqualified persons.

 

2. Customer Responsibility

The customer is solely responsible for:

• Selecting a qualified installer

• Ensuring product compatibility with the intended system

• Verifying local regulations and permit requirements

• Ensuring proper system configuration and commissioning

• Ensuring safe installation environments

• Ensuring proper ventilation and environmental conditions

• Obtaining required inspections, certifications, or approvals

• Verifying grid operator compliance requirements

 

Customers are responsible for ensuring that installation locations are suitable for electrical equipment, including appropriate:

• Ventilation

• Humidity control

• Temperature conditions

• Weather protection

• Fire safety clearances

• Structural suitability

 

E2C-shop and E2C B.V. do not provide installation services, on-site electrical work, engineering design services, load calculations, electrical certification services, or grid approval services.

 

3. No Liability for Improper Installation

E2C-shop and E2C B.V. shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or safety issues resulting from:

• Incorrect installation

• Unauthorized modifications

• Improper wiring or configuration

• Failure to follow manufacturer instructions

• Use of incompatible components

• Improper maintenance or misuse

• Incorrect software or firmware configuration

• Inadequate ventilation or environmental conditions

• Improper storage or transportation after delivery

• Failure to comply with local regulations or inspection requirements

 

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Property damage

• System failure

• Battery damage

• Fire incidents

• Personal injury

• Electric shock

• Loss of power generation

• Loss of energy storage functionality

• Data loss or monitoring interruptions

• Grid connection issues

• Financial or business losses

 

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, E2C-shop shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages related to installation or operation of the products.

 

4. Warranty Limitation

Failure to install products according to manufacturer instructions and local regulations may void the manufacturer warranty.

Any damage caused by improper installation, incompatible system integration, unauthorized modifications, misuse, or environmental exposure is not covered under warranty or return policies.

Warranty coverage may also be affected by:

• Incorrect commissioning

• Improper firmware configuration

• Use outside manufacturer specifications

• Improper storage conditions

• Water exposure

• Extreme temperatures

• Failure to perform required maintenance

 

5. Battery Safety Notice

Lithium battery systems contain high-voltage electrical components and must be handled with extreme care.

Customers and installers must follow all safety instructions provided by the manufacturer, including:

• Proper ventilation requirements

• Temperature limitations

• Fire safety precautions

• Transportation and storage requirements

• Emergency shutdown procedures

• Personal protective equipment requirements where applicable

 

Do not:

• Disassemble battery systems

• Modify products

• Puncture battery cells

• Expose products to water

• Expose products to excessive heat

• Expose products to open flames

• Operate visibly damaged products

• Attempt unauthorized repairs

 

In case of smoke, overheating, unusual odor, leakage, swelling, abnormal operation, or suspected battery damage, immediately disconnect the system where safe to do so and contact qualified professionals or emergency services where necessary.

 

6. Grid Connection & Compliance

Customers are responsible for ensuring that installation and operation comply with:

• Local grid operator requirements

• National electrical standards

• Building regulations

• Certification requirements

• Inspection requirements

• Utility company requirements

• Applicable renewable energy regulations

 

Any required permits, inspections, certifications, approvals, or grid connection authorizations must be arranged by the customer or installer.

E2C-shop does not guarantee that products are automatically approved for every local grid or utility system.

 

7. Software, Firmware & Monitoring Platforms

Certain products may rely on:

• Firmware configuration

• Monitoring platforms

• Cloud services

• Mobile applications

• Third-party communication systems

 

Software functionality, firmware compatibility, and monitoring platform availability may vary depending on manufacturer updates and third-party services.

E2C-shop does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility of software platforms, monitoring systems, cloud services, or third-party applications.

Customers are responsible for ensuring proper software configuration and network compatibility where required.

 

8. Technical Support

E2C-shop may provide general product information or technical guidance; however, such information does not replace professional installation advice, electrical engineering assessment, certified inspection, or qualified installer consultation.

Customers should always consult qualified professionals before installation, commissioning, modification, or maintenance of any electrical system.

 

9. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, installing, using, or operating products supplied by E2C-shop, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Installation Disclaimer and accepts full responsibility for installation, operation, maintenance, compliance, and safe use of the products.

 

10. Applicable Law

This Installation Disclaimer shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable European laws remain unaffected.
